So you don't remember when McCain was loved by the republicans and reviled by the democats? He was a war monger and the dems hated him. Then he took a bribe and threw the election to Obama and now the dems love him. Funny that.

@hippyjoe1955 "Then he took a bribe and threw the election to Obama" ........ care to explain that one ?
lorne13 · 61-69, M
@LegendofPeza its bullshit
hippyjoe1955 · 70-79, M
@LegendofPeza The man was thoroughly corrupt and would do anything for a dollar. He threw the election by refusing to go after Obama.
hippyjoe1955 · 70-79, M
@lorne13 Well argued.
LegendofPeza · 61-69, M
@hippyjoe1955 I'm none the wiser ..... where does the 'bribe' come into it ?
hippyjoe1955 · 70-79, M
@LegendofPeza McCain became rich by being a senator. Ever wonder how?
LegendofPeza · 61-69, M
@hippyjoe1955 Not really no. I do wonder however how you think that insinuations and conspiracy theories support your wild assertions.
hippyjoe1955 · 70-79, M
@LegendofPeza You choose to turn a blind eye to the corruption in high places. I don't. That is not a conspiracy at all. Those are simple facts. The number of elected officials that become very rich from being elected indicates that there is massive corruption taking place.

@hippyjoe1955 Senator John McCain published SEVEN books and numerous articles. Of course, in your deluded little world, the revenues he received from his publications were all bribes.

@hippyjoe1955 No one pretends McCain was above rebuke. Not even McCain himself. And no, Dems often disagreed with him. But he had what many others lacked, and that was a vision for the greater good regardless of party.
As for becoming rich by being a politician, look no further than the WH. Or can you see the far from under your rock?
