@nilammagi Not true. Though some who'd prefer not to wear them are required to in certain countries, it's a choice for many, many others.

@AgapeLove I hear you, but I maintain that many women still wear a burqa out of pure choice. Many can't understand why Catholics would flagellate themselves or wear scapulae every day all their lives upon penalty of sin, but some do because they choose it. I think what we'd all agree on is that is should be a choice and not a requirement for women.
