What about the guy who was told to get out of the car and did so but had to reach in to grab his cane because he needed it to stand. As a disabled person I am terrified about I would happen if I couldn't obey a verbal order.

@ViciDraco Are you so stupid you can't figure out to tell the cop ok but I need my cane, may I get it first....you know, so he doesn't think you're going for a gun. Common sense, just plain old common sense.

@katielass the fact that it is becoming so is what is so terrifying. The fact that someone who has done literally nothing wrong has to stop and think that a cop may shoot for a behavior that is almost automatic to them is terrifying. Would you stop to ask the cop if you could breath or blink? If you are disabled long enough, these become automatic actions like that.

The police need better training. Training that teaches them to not fear the public they are supposed to serve and protect so much.
