Why are anti-Trumpers so ignorant?

Why are anti-Trumpers so stubbornly ignorant? You can present them with facts to disprove their allegations. You can direct them to further information. You can try to educate them and get them to think. They still cling to the same misinformation spewed out by the MSM, and operate on their emotions rather than rational thought. It causes me to despair for the future of our country.

Their emotions are clouding their judgement. They feel and don't think about the consequences and ramifications of what their emotional and impulsive decisions would bring. People whose emotions rule them should have no say in policy.

Funny thing to hear coming from someone who screeches and calls everyone assholes and dumbfucks and shitheads every time his views are challenged. And yes, that was directed at you, personally.

@BlueMetalChick Who have I called those names? It is very stupid to simply believe something just because a celebrity, a news station, or liberal universities say it is true. The majority of the people who are saying they want things like open borders and also abolishing border control know NOTHING about the consequences. I didn't call you any names during our last discussion yet you called me a dunce...my point is simply that what they want is dangerous and they are making decisions on whims and emotional impulse! I want the country to be safe and prosperous. Let other countries sort out their own problems and stop expecting so much from us. What is so terrible about that? My dad was an immigrant but he came here LEGALLY and so should everyone else.

Yeah it's pretty stupid to blindly follow one opinion without comparing it to others inside your head but I'm not really sure why you'd think I don't feel that way.

Who in the blue hell is saying they want open borders or abolishing border control? The only people I've ever heard even float that idea are hardcore libertarians. Nobody wants open borders or a complete lack of border control. The most radical idea I've heard thus far is dismantling ICE but leaving US border patrol and customs and immigration intact.

Within the last month you called me a communist and an anti-American.

Because it's so dangerous and scary and risky to stop cutting welfare checks to corporations and use it to pay for schools instead. I'm quaking.

Well we spend more money on the military than the next fourteen largest defense budgets put together. Does that make you feel safe enough? Or do you need even more than that?
My dad was an immigrant but he came here LEGALLY and so should everyone else.
I'm not really sure how that's relevant to the conversation. Are we talking bout immigration now?
