Why are anti-Trumpers so ignorant?

Why are anti-Trumpers so stubbornly ignorant? You can present them with facts to disprove their allegations. You can direct them to further information. You can try to educate them and get them to think. They still cling to the same misinformation spewed out by the MSM, and operate on their emotions rather than rational thought. It causes me to despair for the future of our country.

what scares me the most is the inability of each side to understand why the other side think the way they do, its the absence of discussion due to the fact that each side thinks the other side are idiots. that's what scares me and what divides your country, and my own to a lesser extent. for this reason I disassociate myself from both sides.
