Should elected and appointed officials be harassed, stalked, and threatened until Democracy becomes meaningless?

Just wondering because that's what the Democratic party officially wants its followers to do.

I don't think that's what is happening... I think people are genuinely appalled at the way some elected officials are behaving.

I seem to remember people (and the GOP) behaving pretty disgracefully to the Obamas... memes likening them to monkeys, gross racism, the whole birth certificate conspiracy...or have you forgotten about that?
