Should elected and appointed officials be harassed, stalked, and threatened until Democracy becomes meaningless?

Just wondering because that's what the Democratic party officially wants its followers to do.

I think everyone, both parties, have gone too far. The abuse that's being heaped upon anyone who may disagree with another is unconscionable. There doesn't seem to be any respectful discourse any more.

I'm not a fan of Trump's but kicking someone out of your restaurant because you don't like the fact they work for the man is going too far IMO.

@SW-User the restaurant thing is a harmless political statement. The administration is not a protected class.

Maxine Waters’ statements are pretty questionable, on the other hand.

@SW-User Here's another way of looking at it.

Sarah Huckabee Sanders, owns a business, albeit a public one. She, on regular basis, decides who gets to "eat" at her business, and who does not, by giving preference, to Trump's mouthpiece press, and sometime excluding (equivalent of kicking people out of her restaurant), those who do not share her political convictions.

She got a "taste" of her own medicine. What actually happened, is that the owner received complaints from her staff, so she convened a vote, and decided to abide by the majority decision, to ask her to leave, on moral, not political grounds, because of her position on same sex relationships and same sex marriage.

Maxine Waters crossed a line that should not be crossed by a Congresswoman.

@SW-User It goes much farther than kicking people out. The dems are stalking and harassing Republicans, mostly men harassing women. They are passing out Wanted fliers and threatening them.

@Northwest Sarah has a job, and everyone can watch her press conferences.

@QuixoticSoul It wasn't harmless when the owners of the Red Hen followed Sarah's family to the next restaurant with a crowd and heckled them there.

@Beerless This does not even address what I said.

Oh for crying out loud. I'm not going to get into a debate on how deep all this goes. EVERYONE has crossed a line. I feel as if the lunatics have all been allowed to run the asylum. ALL the politicians are a bunch of narcissistic aholes as far as I'm concerned.
