But the fact is that most people are more comfortable in the bathroom of their gender. I imagine this goes for transgenders as well. So that's why they need to. Because they should have the same rights as you or me.

Probably just a societal construct. But that doesn't change the fact that people are more comfortable in the bathroom that corresponds to their gender. Why should you deny transgenders that same comfort?

But at the moment it is a recognized right, a legislated right and as such, why shouldn't a transgender have the same right?
