So what's it like having Trump as president??

It’s a nightmare. Racists and womanizers are more empowered than ever with him in charge.

The failure is not in our current president. The failure was the election process that only allowed us to vote for a buffoon, or a liar.

Trump as scary as he is, is not the scariest part. The scariest part is how many people have felt free to let their hate express freely. I honestly didn't think there were so many.

Depressing, hopeless, worrisome, and an invaluable opportunity for political scientists to observe how liberal democracies can slip into authoritarian fascism before most of the population even gets what’s going on.

The country probably hasn’t been this divided since the (last) Civil War.

It would be entertaining if there was less at stake. Although he has (more or less accidentally I suspect) stumbled into a good idea or two the random, half thought out ideas that seem to regularly pop into his head are more than a little worrisome

Truthfully, it's kind of hard to tell that he is president. His staff is quite anemic, and they struggle to craft actionable policy. Not to mention that even with his party controlling congress, they've failed to deliver on several major points. He hasn't been able to do very much. At least on a day to day level. If you're playing the market it's a rollercoaster. You can probably make money in the short game if you just wait for him to say something stupid and then buy stock right after and then sell it after he goes quiet for a while.

The same as doing work for him on one of his buildings. I'm just bending over and waiting for the inevitable assault.
