PlumBerries I have a long history of making homemade explosive devices. It's an odd fascination of mine that started during my childhood since I lived in an area stricken by war, and as such I would often find discarded firearms and explosives, mostly hand grenades, in my area. In high school I made friends with a boy named Luke Sterling, and he gave me a recipe for possibly the best and most reactive dark aluminum powder for use in pyrotechnics and the like. Since then I've made a hobby out of constructing my own fireworks and other pyrophoric devices.
So, to amuse myself on a Friday night, I decided to make some pipe bombs and go blow them up in various places around the city just for fun and mischief. I had made three different varieties with different concentrations and mixtures of ingredients. The first and second varieties I detonated outdoors, two in the alley behind my house, one on the roof of my old grade school, and a fourth one in a storm drain. The third variety was the one I decided to test in the subway tunnel. I have no clue why I chose to light it in an enclosed area with lots of cameras and a high chance of encountering other humans, but I did. And, well, you know what happens after that.
