Just curious. Given that there is no evidence of collusion-- you think Manafort should just skate?

@CopperCicada One down, 62,984,826 more to go, according to Mueller.
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
Nope. Seems like those 2010 white collar financial charges could lead to conviction. Having bail revoked for witness tampering seems serious he has a number of charges of crimes unrelated to the campaign and occurring prior to 2012 pending. @CopperCicada

@jackjjackson I would like to know why Mueller was even looking at things that happened before 2015 since his main focus was supposed to be Russian interference in the 2016 election. Hard to believe he could come across these supposed violations during the normal course of his investigation
@eli1601 That's sort of normal though, right?

When I just reported a violent crime as they investigated me 5+ years back.

Good question. No doubt that will come out as these unrelated charges are prosecuted. Manafort’s bail being revoked together with the witness tampering leads me to reevaluate the odds of his conviction and increase them.

That being said none of it has anything to do with the election. No matter what the media says that won’t change. @eli1601
@jackjjackson I don't do mainstream media. Who is saying this is related to the election? I read the Manafort indictment. There was no mention of a why or wherefore re these foreign contacts he had.
eli1601 · 70-79, M
@CopperCicada Is it normal?
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@CopperCicada The only reason Mueller cares at all is because Manafort worked for Trump on his campaign for 49 days. The objective of muellers witchhunt is to jail as many folks who have had any dealings with Trump in any way.
@eli1601 I don't know, is it? I presumed so.

In my case, report a violent crime, under scrutiny for other shit.
eli1601 · 70-79, M
@CopperCicada Sounds like a good way to discourage people from reporting crimes
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
Mainstream media: Manafort + campaign manager + crime = bad news for the President. They keep the smear deceptively simple. @CopperCicada
@eli1601 right? that's exactly what it did. i don't call the police for anything.

@sunsporter1649 'Manafort worked for Trump on his campaign for 49 days.' - False
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
Scroll up Einstein it’s clearly stated that it was 111 days. @RodionRomanovitch

@jackjjackson You do understand the purpose of inverted commas don't you ?

And he actually worked for the campaign for a total of 144 days from March 29 - Aug 19.

So how does that grab you Albert ?
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
Definitely plenty of time to negatively impact the course of the free world based on alleged offenses occurring long before the president announced his his candidacy. You’re showing your desperation. @RodionRomanovitch
