So, you want trump to get the Nobel Peace Prize for no reason simply because you believe Obama got it for no reason? 🌀

@MarkPaul no it is not my post but I will point out that the OP said "if the N Korean thing works out" so we are talking about giving it to someone who a lot of people may not like but who actually accomplished something vs giving it to someone a lot of people liked who did not accomplish anything but was projected to. It makes a joke out of the whole thing.

@Subsumedpat Well, "if it works out" then yes, he would have accomplished something. But, you can stick that label on anything and everything. If international cooperation works out in the long term, then Obama's prize will mean something because he would have accomplished something. If trump's photo op, works out, he will have accomplished something. If the world ends through our carelessness, will we feel we have accomplished something?

@MarkPaul That’s what pisses me off, is the pettiness about it—especially since the peace accords Obama did affect (Cuba, Iran)were actively dismantled by Trump out of spite. How does that contribute to world peace ?
