Most people would be surprised just how little water that is.

@katielass Yes, I actually sat down and thought about it. Washing dishes? You would have to do them by hand, fill a bowl with a gallon of boiled water and soap, and reserve a gallon of boiled water to pour over the soapy dishes in the rack, just like we do when we go camping. If you eat three meals a day, that is 6 gallons right there. A washing machine uses 14 gallons per wash. If you could save the gray water from the washing machine and do one load of wash per day, you could use the gray water to flush the toilets. It takes 30 gallons of water to take a shower, and now you are up to 50 gallons of water. You are allowed 55 gallons per person, so that gives you drinking water for yourself and your pets, water for cooking, and water to make ice cubes. In the year 2030, the amount of water per day will be reduced to 50 gallons per day per person, and you will have to ration or reduce time in the shower, and ration the number of showers, otherwise you will have no drinking water or cooking water.

@MethDozer Yes, if you have short hair, or you don't wash your long hair, I am sure that is possible. I read a book a long time ago by Robert Heinlein about people living in an underground colony on the moon. "The Moon is a Harsh Mistress". ALL water, including your own pee, had to be recycled and re-used, and showers were 1 minute long.
