I feel that Trump is doing more harm than good for our country?

@robingoodfellow This has a lot of truth to it. Remember when Trump was first elected and every news outlet in America was lambasting him, and then he carried out that airstrike in Syria and suddenly they started giving him credit? Fareed Zakaria (I think I spelled his name wrong) went on air and said he's "finally acting presidential" because he made the decision to drop bombs on another country. Brian Williams covered live footage of the takeoff and commented on "the beauty of our weapons." This is what we've come to expect from our elected leaders now. That the true sign of them properly exercising their authority is to do something that will get people in other nations killed.

@robingoodfellow My grandma has repeated the same phrase since she was my age in the 1950's. "The truest sign of an empire in decline is when war is waged not for expansion but rather because it's only way the oligarchs can continue to support themselves."

When you fight wars because it's the last remaining method of making money, you know the empire is in its death throes.

Trump has given his followers the reassurance that it is okay to be a bully and have beliefs in extreme ideologies when running as a candidate, so no doubt in the future we will see more like him that are even worse.

@robingoodfellow She was born in 1938 so her childhood was overshadowed by the Second World War. And in her late teen years she married into a mob family after working as a dice girl on underground gambling tables, and organized crime is like a microcosm of a corrupt government.

@Loretta78 Interracial genetics is an interesting area of study. I just wish I was better at it. Biology has always been my weakest science.

@SW-User Hate crimes have increased exponentially, because the president has made it clear that he is at least tolerant of those attititudes, if not approving of them.

@SW-User There's people worse than him but most of them are contained to radio stations or podcasts or social media platforms, Ben Shapiro for example, or Tomi Lahren.
