I feel that Trump is doing more harm than good for our country?

How about you?

in what ways?
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@Biffed Well, he's continuing the tradition of wasting an absurd amount of taxpayer money on the war machine. Instead of an eight hundred billion dollar military budget, we could reallocate some of that money to repairing the dilapidated American infrastructure, or funding healthcare, or education, or the space program. That's my main problem with Trump, and it was my main problem with Obama before him, and Bush before him.

Actually in retrospect it was my second biggest problem with Bush, my first was that whole "invading a country that didn't attack us and pretending they had weapons of mass destruction" thing...

@LvChris The worst part is that despite you trying to be funny through hyperbole, people actually say shit like that. I can't tell you how many times I've been called a "libtard communist socialist Marxist lefty" despite that all five of those groups hate each other.

So, when they called Obama a Marxist Kenyan Muslim, they were confused? @BlueMetalChick
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
Not to try to categorize you of course, you seem like a libertarian in its purest sense. @BlueMetalChick
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@jackjjackson On social issues I am. But I'm economically a leftist. I think government regulations on the economy are very necessary, which isn't libertarian.
basilfawlty89 · 31-35, M
@jackjjackson We're Anarchists. We don't think there should be government control of people's bodies, who they're allowed to marry, whether or not they take drugs or whether or not they can own a gun.

We basically think elites should be removed from both government and economic institutions and instead have direct democracy. Not state enforced socialism or capitalism, but worker owned socialism.
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@basilfawlty89 I'm a slight bit softer than you are but I'm with you 90% of that.

Hmmm .... the case about the Iraq WMD's was attested to by George Tenet and James Clapper ... and the war was supported by Hillary Clinton.

Clapper, Tenet ... and before them there was John Casey and whatever they were up to in Iran and Nicaragua ... and before then our involvement with the Shah of Iran and our president Carter's empowerment of the Ayatollah Khomeini.

I think we are well overdue an airing of what's going on in the deep state of our FBI and intelligence agencies.
basilfawlty89 · 31-35, M
@Heartlander Yes, but you need to remember Anarchists don't give a flying fuck about Hillary. We don't support her, for that matter, we don't really support politicians at all typically.

Hillary being an asshole doesn't change that Trump is still an asshole.

✅ re your Mrs Clinton comments @basilfawlty89
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@Heartlander Fucking THANK you, people let Clapper off the hook too easy, and Hillary Clinton was a huge cheerleader for Bush's illegal wars.
Northwest · M
@BlueMetalChick Well, it's a good thing we elected a guy who said he was against the Iraq war, right? It's not like a guy like that, will send troops into Syria, pushes for war against Iran, and pushes us into a direct role in the Israeli/Palestinian conflict.
basilfawlty89 · 31-35, M
@Northwest Also not getting it. You can be against both Hillary and Obama. You can dislike both actions of Obama and of Bush.
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@Northwest Not to mention inciting war with Russia by bombing their top allies and spearheading a NATO buildup on their border.
Heartlander · 80-89, M
@BlueMetalChick You can go back further .... how many Americans died in Vietnam before someone outed the lie behind the Bay of Tonkin revolution?

To make matters worse, both the lies and the forces behind disclosures for all of the above were politically motivated.
