Are you happy that John McCain is leaving office?

He is a war hawk and he pushed for war in Syria to topple Assad all while supporting US actions to arm and train Sunni Rebels to be the US government's proxy. These rebels targeted religion minorities and many of them joined ISIS.

Perhaps his brain cancer is Karma.

I disagreed with McCain about a lot of things, but always thought he believed what he was doing was best for the country.

I really don't think the same thing about a lot of Republicans anymore, and at the moment ethical leadership on that side is pretty sketchy.

I'm sad to see him go, but the guy deserves to spend his last days without living through the hell that Washington is going to become.

@MistyCee It says much positive about the man that he is not just laying down for trump and is speaking his mind as he is leaving us. Contrast that with Nunes, McConnell, and Ryan.
