Cut down their foreign aids and remove troops from the Middle East, Asia, Eastern Europe and everywhere else I haven’t mentioned.

Build the wall, deport all illegals, impeach Democrats, pass a balanced budget amendment, eliminate Obamacare, cut Medicaid, cut social security, open up drilling, lower corporate taxes, release rights back to the States, prosecute sanctuary cities, not make un payments, stop funding imf, stop protecting NATO countries who do not pay their bills, move the UN to afghanistan, stop foreign aid, stop funding green companies, stop farm subsidies, ...

I don't believe those in power have any motivation to pay off the national debt. Banks get rich and all the power people work with the banks.

Years ago, I read about a 4th grade school teacher who held a contest in her classroom. She asked her students to come up with a way to pay the national debt. One of her students won; his idea involved the government selling tee shirts. It was a workable solution to the problem.

There are a number of potential workable solutions, but no one is willing to apply any of them.

Growth
Inflation
Lower interest rate
Restructuring the debt
Caution of spending, but caution of under spending too... balance is important
Live within means... citizen expectation

Become more robust to shocks, because they will happen again
And police your banks and financial firms properly, because subprime was a nuclear weapon that went off

Extra gun tax and higher fines for unlicensed firearms.
tale a ;ppl at this chart from a few years back,
notice the huge companies with NEGATIVE tax rates
that meas they did not PAY taxes, but took them in stead.
and since then? it has gotten worse

Picklebobble2 · 56-60, M
Increase the tax on fast food.- May even help with the obesity problem.
Look at court fines maybe. Increase them for regular offenders.
beckyromero · 36-40, FVIP
It's quite simple, actually.

We start by saving or raising taxes so that one penny is put away on the first day.

Then we double that savings/revenue each and every day from that of the day before.

In 52 days we'll have a surplus of a trillion dollars.

Doing that is no more impossible (or possible) than any other ideas anyone can come up with.

We could try to sell liberals but no one is buying them anymore. And for good reason, they just don't offer a decent return on investment.
Picklebobble2 · 56-60, M
Raise taxation on beer; gas; cigarettes; guns; ammunition; gambling.
therighttothink50 · 56-60, M
Drill baby drill, frack, close the border, encourage people to save, the penny plan, term limits, balanced budgets, common sense.

Practice what they preach.

Raise the debt ceiling.
basilfawlty89 · 36-40, M
Start collecting on corporations that dodge taxes. Some haven't paid jackshit. Stop invading the entire planet. War costs money.
katielass · F
@basilfawlty89 Corporations that pay no taxes pay none because they are taking advantage of laws that their high priced tax attys. tell them to take. They aren't doing anything illegal. If you want to close those loopholes speak to congress but be warned, neither party is interested in raising taxes o corporations. Oh, I know one side blathers about it but when they've had the chance to do something about it, they didn't. Because they don't really want to, they just like having a tool with which to whip up resentment from their "easily manipulated and too stupid to know it" voters.
basilfawlty89 · 36-40, M
@katielass you need to remember I don't support republicans or democrats, both parties get paid off by lobbyists to turn a blind eye to tax evasion.
katielass · F
@basilfawlty89 I don't understand your post. My post states nothing about who you support or don't support. I was pretty clear that neither party is interested in raising taxes on corporations.
