It’s a battle cry to put down white people. Same way white power is a cry to put down black people. If you want to see this in action go to where the majority of people is black and see if you are treated different for being white. Think about when you hear people say America is getting browner and that’s ok. Now say America is getting whiter and see the reaction you get .

@Batman but shouldn't people of color have areas where they are the majority and they are safe. As white people have a majority of the country where they feel safe and in the majority. Where they are treated "normal" and people of different ethnicities as lesser. In an ideal world it wouldn't matter...but alas it does

@Batman That is not true. We make up 12% of the U.S. population and nobody is trying to put down anyone else. People are just trying to survive basic traffic stops.

I think everyone should feel safe everywhere but that isn’t where we are, that stuff isn’t here yet. I hope one day it is but pointing out our differences will never get us there. Do you realize we all are around 98% to 99% the same genetic make up? Humans fight over a fraction of % of differences. It sounds silly to me.
