Why on earth were young girls so eager to join The League Of German Girls in Nazi Germany, though? :/

Nazism didn't land on Germany with a thud. The policies and practices of the Third Reich took years to roll out. Most importantly, the policies targeted "them;" anyone not included in a self-described elite category. "Shame what's happening across town, but as long as the chaos stays off our street..."

After a time, the only way not to flow with the current was to very noticeably buck it, and that never ended well, either. The monster rarely comes pounding at our door; it's invited in because it looks so presentable and attractive.

During that time. People took oaths seriously as well as what was said. Not everyone knew what the nazis were doing.

Really heavy propaganda and young people are impressionable. That's how gangs recruit, they make them feel part of a "cause."

love a great uniform

Men in uniform 😕
They were brainwashed into thinking that it indicated a love of country and a sense of exclusiveness, being superior to others.
