Do trump supporters know he really isn't the savior type person he claims to be or...

Do they really believe he's a successful businessman who is tough as nails, a self-made man of principle who identifies with working people, is draining the swamp, and cares about the future of the USA?

If possible, limit the bias in your answers. And, no insults. Oh... and no cliches.

Sorry... just one more thing... no conspiracy theories.

They think he's the version of himself he put forward on the apprentice.

@davidginsberg99 That's a good point and insight. It's like how people tend to believe celebrities have some type of incremental value simply based on their celebrity status or the characters they play on shows without considering those actors are either reading scripted words or their image is based largely on video editing rather than actual results.

@TotalMiss I am very interested in the real answers. That's why I responded to davidginsberg99's response respectfully and to yours. Let me ask you... do you understand how conversation works?

@TotalMiss So, let's summarize... trump supporters tell us the truth... they give us honest insight, and the are pure trump haters... they are risky, dangerous, and distracting.

@TotalMiss Let me explain how reliable research and critical thinking work... you don't only ask the people who support one side of an argument. You gather information from both sides.

Let's use an example. Let's say, we wanted to know if (Bill) Clinton supporters believe his sexual indiscretions had any bearing on his moral character AND if his moral character had any bearing on his capability to be an effective president. Certainly, we would want to find out what Clinton supporters thought, but to be thorough, we wouldn't end our research there. We would open our research to find out what the rest of the population thought to balance our understanding and limit bias.

To do otherwise is just silly. To recommend doing otherwise is reckless.

@TotalMiss You're backing down. I asked an open question about people's (all people) impression of trump supporters. Don't steal the spotlight by thinking, "do trump supporters know..." suggests only trump supporters are entitled to answer. I am distinctly interested in what trump supporters think... but like any competent thinker (or researcher) I am also interested in what others think trump supporters think. To think only trump supporter opinions count seems a bit "establishment" oriented and elitist, don't you think?

@TotalMiss The question requires no re-phrasing. So far, it only seems you are the only who is offended by it. Are you turning politically correct?

@TotalMiss I am completely satisfied with the question as I asked it. I have no remorse whatsoever for the way I asked the question. The question reflects what I intended to ask. I apologize if you took it the wrong way. As always, we appreciate and value your business.
