Is Russia guilty of what happened in Britain?

I don't know if Russia is guilty but I sure as hell don't trust that may woman. I realize they don't have laws and rights as we do but really, a few days and they have proof the Russians did it? Or is it like the US election issue, no proof (because none can possibly exist) just conclusions. What is really interesting however is the fact that the left has been involved in a century long love affair with the soviet union and putin until last year. Now why is that? Oh yes, Mr. Trump interfered with their push toward globalism and woke a lot of people up, which naturally means they have been set back more than a mere 4 or 8 years.

@katielass Love affair? Hillary was downright dangerously hawkish on Russia, and this was long before Trump was even in the picture. The two countries have been steadily ratcheting up tension since the early 00s. NATO expansion, Serbia bombing, and natural Russian paranoia have all played a role in it. The course has not substantially changed under Bush and Obama's administrations, and even Trump's ambivalence on Russia has done little to create any sort of detente. This is a bipartisan thing and it has a lot of momentum.

The British are working toward proof - but at the same time, let's not pretend that the message isn't obvious. Killing traitor spooks in a way that's very unambiguous is a hallmark of Russian security services. Litvinenko was killed with a substance that only Russians are still producing - everyone else's supplies have literally evaporated away. The Novichok agents could have been synthesized by someone else in theory, but they're also a Russian thing and they are the only ones with the real working knowledge of them. It's a pretty obvious pattern, and one that Russians aren't even bothering to hide. They want you to know.

May has plenty of issues, but here she's just calling a spade a spade.

@QuixoticSoul why does the attack have to be on "that woman?" There seems to be an effort to attack women in leadership positions!

@samueltyler2 Which woman?

@QuixoticSoul read the comment written by katielass! She came out and said "I sure as he'll don't trust that may woman." Why do so many women seem to dispise women in power?

@samueltyler2 I can't speak for her motivations. The whole Russia topic has been something of a hot button issue for both sides of the aisle lately.
