Probable but yet to be proven.

@Burnley123 what more would you need to see to assign blame?

@samueltyler2 Evidence which shows involvement by the Russian State.

@Burnley123 it is the weapon they decided and experimented extensively on, they have been proved to do such assassinations. What would you need, a stamp saying made by the Russian government? The evidence as released is forensically as convincing as it can be.

@samueltyler2 To say that it is a weapon they have used before is only circumstantial evidence, not least because other people have used it. Think about a court of law. It would be silly if this was used to build a case around. Its a start, yes but not more.

The evidence is not forensic. Some forensic evidence would be a good thing. Like links to known Russian spies, intel on plans or a whistleblower.

It is important to insist on this because a lot of people are ramping up the rhetoric in favour of military action.

@Burnley123 I have heard no mention of military action, that would be catastrophic. I have done enough forensic work to know that when something looks like a duck, quacks like a duck and eaddkes like a duck in probably is. In the past, ex-KGB operatives have discussed the Russian assassinations, this one follows precisely in the patterns thru described. I believe you are incorrect regarding this particular poison. It has been traced back to the Russian military. They have tried to say that they "lost" control of some. If you believe that I have a bridge to sell you.

The operative word in there is probably. This is my position. You claim to have done forensic work. Was that for law enforcement? If so, you will know that proof is needed.

@Burnley123 yes I worked for law enforcement and learned to connect the dots. As far as I am concerned, there are enough dots in this case to go to the prosecutor's office with.
