When Trump insist on stuff that is obviously untrue ...

Does that make you question the other stuff he says?
Rasmussen and others have my approval ratings at around 50%, which is higher than Obama, and yet the political pundits love saying my approval ratings are “somewhat low.” They know they are lying when they say it. Turn off the show - FAKE NEWS!
The latest Rassmussen poll has Trump at 44%. Disapproval: 54%. No other poll puts Trump higher than the Rassmussen polls.

How Trump compares with past presidents (From 538):

Approval
Obama: 49%; Trump: 40.7%

Disapproval
Obama: 44.8%; Trump: 53.4%

Trump also claims there was no collusion.🤔

For an astonishing disconnection with reality, check out Trump's latest Pennsylvania speech. It's one thing to see things from a different perspective or take a side in a divisive situation, but this kind of aggressive ignorance of the truth is beginning to make Trump appear like a dictator who simply tells his country whatever he likes and expects them to believe it if they want to stay under his good graces.

You know, every conservative in this country who shout about the power and majesty of the USA all the live-long day ought to really listen to Trump's messages, because he's doing nothing to help their cause.

@Graylight You hit the nail on the head. He fully expects to create his own reality, which doesn't exist, and to have people fall in line like lemmings.

@Graylight As a conservative, I agree.

When I say that I am, I get a bunch of Trumpets saying, "no you're not".

Maybe they are right. Trump and Fox News are redefining American conservatism.

The results are not something I can identify with.

@WoodyAq Neither party is looking terribly good these days. And to wish ill of the 'other side' is short-sighted, I think. We need robust debate and differing perspectives, but we need to have that conversation over a bridge, not a chasm. When any portion of our government becomes tarnished or malfunctioning, every citizen suffers the consequences.

@WoodyAq @Graylight Classic conservatism has a strong place in the public debate, along with liberalism. The country will not prosper unless we have both, along with respectful debate on the issues. White Nationalism like we have now is NOT real conservatism.

@Graylight Wholly agree.
