Why did Merkel finally admit that Germany has no-go-zones?

Every government needs it's support from the police. Without it governments fall and anarchy reigns.
She's only admitting there might be problems if.....
But the police chief is absolutely right when he says we need to get in there now before they develop no go enclaves within the cities.
Otherwise you'll end up with a bloodbath ! Either through their own version of Sharia law or because the security services will have to go in there mob handed to enforce the rule of law.
sadly an episode that other countries have seen time and time again since the Iranian revolution in '79.

@Picklebobble2 the police are there to protect the people and uphold the law not the government, although you wouldn't guess that from the way the police are used.

@SW-User Your description with regard to the public is correct.
But no government anywhere can survive without the support of it's police to ensure law and order.

Lol, so it's correct but not correct. The government aren't the law, they are clear separated in most democratic governments, this is how government are brought to justice over fraud and other such matters.

@SW-User Really ? Some of us are still awaiting the trial of Bush; Blair; Rumsfeld etc for the needless slaughter of innocents in Iraq !
But hey, everybody has their [i]their[/i] version of history !
