I didn’t read the article but I have heard that many companies are withdrawing their special discounts for NRA members. It’s good to see them taking a stand too—after all money talks more than anything in this whole mess!

@Bean17 But how does that put pressure on the NRA or politicians? The discounts were nice, but certainly not necessary to the NRA.

Yes.. We are watching a movement getting started.. I wont compare this to civil rights for importance . or anything else, except the mechanics of how it is likely to proceed. It will be a long process.. but the journey is starting.@Bean17

@whowasthatmaskedman 😂. Okay. Hold on to that hope.

I agree it’s certainly not necessary—it’s more an indication of the principle of it that they are as fed up with the violence as anyone else and are willing to take a stand about it. It’s telling the young people and everyone else advocating for change that they are with them and support them.@eli1601

@Bean17 And that's fine, but the idea that this is putting pressure on anybody was what I don't buy.

Agreed.. I realise taking guns away from Americans is futile as a way of removing them from society.. There are too many out there... But we have to set the bar higher for ownership and make illegal ownership something to be scared of being caught doing.@Bean17
