Do u believe that teachers should be allowed to keep guns in classrooms ?

I don't know about this one right here. I mean how many times have we seen teachers, punch, hit, kick, and spit on children while they were in the classroom. Anybody can lose their temper.
And you never know at what point will a teacher get mad or afraid enough to want to kill. So why not put armed guards in the front entrances of schools around the world. It works for the courts, the hospitals, the military bases, and certain clubs. What do you think about this.
Should teachers be allowed to keep locked guns in classrooms. 馃槓

Guns have no place in a teacher's hands at a school. It will just lead to additional deaths by mistake or purposely when the gun is misused. WTF is happening to us that we now are talking about guns instead of what our kids are learning?

Well if i was in charged, I would bang all the peoples heads together who are in favour of keeping guns then take them all away, and say no children you cant have your guns back 馃槉

[@11430,thesunisout] What.

Most campuses already have police officers assigned to each campus. Guns will be stolen or lost constantly if left in the classroom.

[@523909,Crazywaterspring] Some have armed guards but there needs to be a more intimidating presence nowadays.

I didnt know that the solution to gun problem is more guns.
VioletDreams36-40, F
[@322117,Zonuss] i suppose but wasnt there an armed guard already on campus?
Zonuss41-45, M
[@359684,VioletDreams] There was, but he declined to confront the shooter. So he was dismissed from the school.
VioletDreams36-40, F
[@322117,Zonuss] exactly, so no it wouldnt even help if they were armed guard on site.

*lets steal the teachers gun*

times are a changing eh
Zonuss41-45, M
[@134288,cycleman] Oh yes that would be a problem.
cycleman56-60, M
[@322117,Zonuss] and I thought I would be a bad ass and steal their apple. lol

I think it鈥檚 unreasonable for a teacher to have that added job description. It鈥檚 so horrible the the armed guard for the school cowered and did nothing. There must be some crime he committed that lands him in jail right? Personally I see a well trained larger force say four minimum well armed at each school inside and outside and connected to all seeing video.

[@1158,Jackjjacksonjr] my kid's school has a lot of video cameras thru out the school and out
jackj56-60, M
It depends who is watching and what is done with the information. In thinking back when my kids went to elementary school the principals office with the door always open was right inside the entrance. No one came or went without his knowing. [@576182,Starsof6]

My kid's school have guards. Also metal detectors at the entrances
Zonuss41-45, M
[@576182,Starsof6] Cool.

No. It's a dumb idea.
No, teachers can be crazy motherfuckers, too.

A quick google search will give you an idea of what some have done.
[@2021,MarineBob] The US President doesp麓t have the kids best interest as a priority麓, Only his rich republican pals麓interests.

Any idea that comes from Trump pretending to solve a problem is laughable.

The US is now the laughing stock of the world.
Zonuss41-45, M
[@330935,Underconstruction] Well that was my point, and that goes for even the responsible ones.
[@322117,Zonuss] Exactly, I agree with you.
QuixoticSoul36-40, M
The next school shooter won't even have to bring a gun to school - just wrestle it away from some old lady in the home room.
Zonuss41-45, M
[@580625,QuixoticSoul] Hmmmmmm.
windinhishair61-69, M
[@580625,QuixoticSoul] The only other difference is he won't kill as many, because she won't be armed with an AR-15.
MarineBob56-60, M
Not unless it is physically on their body
Zonuss41-45, M
[@2021,MarineBob] Meaning.
MarineBob56-60, M
Firearm should be physically on the teachers person and not to be out of the holster unless they're ready to use it

No its a silly idea, but not my country!
Zonuss41-45, M
[@662097,Azifficair] I see.
