SW-User
i stopped listening to him a while ago
JessieB · 31-35, F
@SW-User I try, but he's still our *president*. Illegitimately.
nudistsueaz · 61-69, F
@JessieB Illegitimately, how? I think he meant that the Schools receive state & federal funds, so therefore could have and institute more control over students. In the area of public safety.
Standarized paid response that is handed out to all Republican politicans from the NRA.
@JessieB Again.............EXACTLY right. The fleecing of America has to end. On it's own--greed only gets worse.
CharlesJC · 56-60, M
@JessieB We can do it!
JessieB · 31-35, F
I don't think I would use the word funny in any context with this horrible massacre.
JessieB · 31-35, F
@jetpack noted
SatanBurger · 36-40, F
@jetpack When people use the word funny, they are not using funny as in something of a comedian. They are using the term as ironic and it has nothing to do with actual humor.
Lolco · 36-40, M
This is the 17th school shooting this year & we aren’t even a quarter into the year ....
JessieB · 31-35, F
@Lolco Hmmm, I have an idea...
We can have common-sense gun-control laws if we vote Republican politicians out of office.

We can have healthcare as a right if we vote Republican politicians out of office.

We can stop Russia from interfering with our democracy if we vote Republican politicians out of office.
CharlesJC · 56-60, M
@JessieB I'm sensing a theme here. 😉
JessieB · 31-35, F
@CharlesJC You noticed? 😏
StevetheSleeve · 31-35, M
He's saying look over there, no guns to discuss here.
JessieB · 31-35, F
@StevetheSleeve His M.O..
StevetheSleeve · 31-35, M
@JessieB His and every politician in the pocket of the NRA.
JessieB · 31-35, F
@StevetheSleeve Not all of them. But I understand your sentiment.
GwydionFrost · 56-60, M
The incidents WERE reported to the authorities (school staff and admin board, which are mandated court reporters)... which is why he was expelled from that school to begin with...!

So, his advice to solve the issue is to do what they did... which seems pretty unsuccessful, looking back...
GwydionFrost · 56-60, M
@JessieB Wrong. It began in earnest when the mental health budget was gutted, and all the state hospitals released the crowds into the general population. No funds to track and treat folks that just... continued to crumble.
JessieB · 31-35, F
@GwydionFrost Ronald Reagan's shameful legacy...
GwydionFrost · 56-60, M
@JessieB Of course, it is deliciously ironic karma that it was a mental condition that took him out...
xRedx · M
One word:
Hypocrisy
JessieB · 31-35, F
@xRedx Agree
firefall · 61-69, M
Much sound and fury, signifying nothing, as the quote goes.

He just spews words, he neither knows nor cares if they have any meaning
JessieB · 31-35, F
@firefall This shows his utter lack of compassion and his inability to see reality.
CharlesJC · 56-60, M
Right on cue he blames the victims. To suggest he lacks basic empathy and has any human decency is a gross understatement.
JessieB · 31-35, F
@CharlesJC Not to mention the shooter had been reported. Nothing can be done until he COMMITS A CRIME. The school acted in an effort to protect students, but the NRA and the GOP haven't.
RodionRomanovitch · 56-60, M
It was just something he heard on Fox and Friends.
JessieB · 31-35, F
@RodionRomanovitch while lying in bed eating a cheeseburger...
SatanBurger · 36-40, F
Trump once said in his book that he hit his music teacher because he didn't know music supposedly. Trump said he gave him a black eye but the music teacher denied this ever happened but called Trump a little sh*t (exact words) when asked about it after. Trump wants to talk about people being mentally unstable in school? Why feel the need to make up lies about physical violence that never happened unless he was mentally unstable himself.

It's def. a head turner why he even lied about stuff like that.
JessieB · 31-35, F
@SatanBurger Good point!!

If we could stop at will any suspicious person with mentally unstable personality traits and a demonstrated history of poor judgments and lack of human compassion...well, please step this way, Mr. President.
He's obviously deflecting from the gun control issue, and yes, he's to some extent laying the blame on the neighbors and classmates.

But he's also emphasizing something that's a natural progression from his "blame the other" message. In this Us v. Them game he's playing, in the newly "Great America," loyalty to the regime is really critical.

See someone suspicious? Tell the authorities. They might just be crazy, but they might also be an illegal alien or a cosmopolitan elite.

I'm probably overreaching a little here, I realize, but maybe not nearly as much as it would seem, when you realize that part of what he's doing is cleaning out the disloyal types in the FBI.

If his reasoning is that the shooter was mentally disturbed it sort of begs the question: why did Trump repeal legislation that would've helped keep guns out of the hands of the mentally ill ?
RodionRomanovitch · 56-60, M
@bijouxbroussard Somebody needs to ask him that.
Graylight · 51-55, F
[image deleted]Nazi Germany or present-day USA?

How long before we're living in Minority Report?
