How do you interpret trump's comment regarding the Florida shooter?

"So many signs that the Florida shooter was mentally disturbed, even expelled from school for bad and erratic behavior. Neighbors and classmates knew he was a big problem. Must always report such instances to authorities, again and again!"

Is he blaming the classmates?

Is he closing the book on this issue?

Is he saying Americans should report other Americans when they see violent tendencies that might escalate? Like Rob Porter’s wives reporting him for being violent? Same?
If so, funny, trump and his administration ignored/disregarded their reports.

The incidents WERE reported to the authorities (school staff and admin board, which are mandated court reporters)... which is why he was expelled from that school to begin with...!

So, his advice to solve the issue is to do what they did... which seems pretty unsuccessful, looking back...

@GwydionFrost We know how this goes. Blame mental health issues. Blame classmates. Blame teachers/school personnel. Blame parents/family members. Blame neighbors. These recipients of blame do not donate amounts of money that the NRA donates. Therefore the NRA will not be blamed.

@JessieB Want to know why the NRA terrorists really want teachers armed?

Inexpensive new handgun cost: $400
Number of American teachers: 3.2 Million
New gun revenue? $1.2 BILLION.

The NRA has never cared about the safety of our kids. They care about dollars.

@CharlesJC We didn’t have lockdown drills when I was a kid. This phenomenon of gun violence began in the 90s with the rise of NRA and the GOP taking their blood money.

@JessieB Wrong. It began in earnest when the mental health budget was gutted, and all the state hospitals released the crowds into the general population. No funds to track and treat folks that just... continued to crumble.

@GwydionFrost Ronald Reagan's shameful legacy...

@JessieB Of course, it is deliciously ironic karma that it was a mental condition that took him out...
