Will the GOP blame Hillary or Obama for the shutdown?

Let’s get our government shutdown timeline straight:

▪️GOP has WH, Senate and House
▪️Trump promised DACA deal
▪️GOP let CHIP expire
▪️GOP tried to use CHIP as blackmail
▪️GOP IGNORED bipartisan bill to protect DACA
▪️GOP now trying time blame DEMOCRATS for shutdown

The federal government has NEVER in US history shutdown when ONE party controls both houses of Congress AND the White House.

So much winning...

Lets see....House passed continuation bill....and 95% of Republicans want to pass it in the Senate...but 100% of Dems don't want to pass it because they want to have millions of noncitizens stay here illegally, with the intention of creating a partisan pro-dem voting bloc.

The Center For American Progress (CAP) Action Fund admits that “DREAMers” are a “critical component of the Democratic Party’s future electoral success.”

So like usual it is the Dem way or no way. The government has shut down before....if that is what it takes....so be it.

Yada yada yada.

@bowman81 the Dems can argue that the GOP want to fund tax cuts for the rich on the backs of vulnerable children. That won't be popular.

The last time there was a shut down and the GOP controlled Congress, the GOP ended up wearing it. I suspect it'll be the same this time.

@bowman81 oh lawdy. When you pull your head out of that sand let us know.

@bowman81 and yet the Republicans needed no Dem votes to pass the spending bill. aren't you conveniently forgetting that?
bowman81 · M
@ladycae Not at all...rules of the Senate are different for this type of bill. The other was handled through the reconciliation process. They need 60 votes for this....so the premise that the GOP "controls" all three is wrong...they have a majority in both houses but not "control".

@bowman81 did every republican vote to approve the spending bill? no so they can't even sway their own members with their bs. wait, wait that's all you ever hear from republicans wait. next month, next week, next year and still nothing gets done.
bowman81 · M
@ladycae Nope, like I said 95+% of the GOP voted to keep the government open and 100% of the Dems and 5% of the GOP acted to close it.

actually once again you prove your ignorance some dems voted to aprove the bill. stop getting your alternate facts from fox, alex jones and brietbart. you might actually learn something useful
