The Coastal Cities of California wish to split off from the rest of California to become the 51st state. Your thoughts?

Residents of the Coastal cities say that their state is being badly financially mismanaged. California is now the poorest state in the Union. It has been likened to a crazy old Uncle who wants to buy you dinner all the time but he owes a hundred grand to every loan shark. New California, comprised of the west coast cities, would then become the 51st state.

Better idea! Let California leave the US and become the Socialist Republic of California and they can bankrupt themselves in a couple years. Then they can all escape and become "undocumented residents" of Mexico.

Just imagine...gangs roaming the streets...business leaving in droves...the movie mogul predators and the emo actors and actresses all viciously bullying each other into politically correct submission and starvation...sad. The only ones left will be the billionaires, the millionaires and the drug lords and their servants and the gangs.
