The Coastal Cities of California wish to split off from the rest of California to become the 51st state. Your thoughts?

Residents of the Coastal cities say that their state is being badly financially mismanaged. California is now the poorest state in the Union. It has been likened to a crazy old Uncle who wants to buy you dinner all the time but he owes a hundred grand to every loan shark. New California, comprised of the west coast cities, would then become the 51st state.

Well, you can't blame them. Who wants to live in a state that the other 49 laugh at.
TheProphet · M
@katielass Sadly I live in Illinois, the joke state of the country. Liberal of course, broke, govenors go to prison, but the liberals never learn.
4meAndyou · F
@katielass I know, right? But I'm not laughing at the state itself...just some of the insane emos who live there...oh...excuse me...I meant far left liberals.
katielass · F
@TheProphet Well, you're always welcome to come to my red state.
TheProphet · M
@katielass I just might. Help defend Texas from liberals.
katielass · F
@4meAndyou Yeah, the laughing thing was just a symbol. Actually, I think most of us feel sorry for the good people who have to put up with that left wing crap.
TheProphet · M
@katielass We do feel sorry for them. High taxes, excessive regulations, poor planning, over crowded, bad schools, and on and on.
4meAndyou · F
@katielass So, so right. Er...I mean...so, so left...LOLOL!!!
katielass · F
@TheProphet We noticed last year the left wing media was trying to claim that Texas was up for grabs in the election. Not even close, not even. They do that in an effort to try to convince some people not to bother voting. It worked in Florida in 2000 and lots of repubs in the Panhandle went home because they were lied to and told gore had handily won the state. Well, you wouldn't stand in a line to cast a vote that wouldn't make any difference. No one trusts the media about anything anymore.

@TheProphet lmfaoooooooooooooo
4meAndyou · F
@katielass 95% of the media. They can't call it news anymore. They have to call it "Just pulled this out of my a$$ opinion forums." 😜
TheProphet · M
@4meAndyou So true. They talk about Trump so much you'd think there were no other problems in the World.
4meAndyou · F
@TheProphet Yeah, I am SO much more interested in the fact that Trump has TWO scoops of ice cream on his pie, and the fact that he is drinking DIET coke and that he eats cheeseburgers and whether or not he will eventually have a stroke...than North Korea, immigration, and the budget.
TheProphet · M
@4meAndyou I know right. They just can't get over the fact that the majority of States support him. Take california, Illinois, and new york out of the eqaution and liberals will never see another dem President or Congress.
katielass · F
@TheProphet Well, as I always say, if there is a wrong side to an issue the left will find it and embrace it. They are always on the wrong side of everything.
