The Coastal Cities of California wish to split off from the rest of California to become the 51st state. Your thoughts?

Residents of the Coastal cities say that their state is being badly financially mismanaged. California is now the poorest state in the Union. It has been likened to a crazy old Uncle who wants to buy you dinner all the time but he owes a hundred grand to every loan shark. New California, comprised of the west coast cities, would then become the 51st state.

You have that backwards. It is the eastern part of the state that wants to leave the whack irresponsible coastal cities

@GoodoldBob They are dividing it into rural California and the coastal cities, and according to what I just heard on the news it is the coastal cities who wish to separate themselves.

@4meAndyou Read the article yourself. It has been posted all over the internet. It's the rural eastern counties that want to leave because the imbecile Democrats in the coastal cities have made an absurd mess of everything.

@GoodoldBob Well, that does make sense. On the news they had the cities on the coast highlighted in yellow, and had a large split filled with water showing where the split will be. They did mention that the group who wants to leave are conservatives.
