Why can't America get more Immigrants from Norway?

*Because they have an excellent universal health care scheme.
* Because they have a longer life expectancy than Americans.
* Because the recently ranked No 1 as the happiest nation on the planet (America comes in at 31)
* Because their nation has a trade SURPLUS of over a trillion dollars
* Because Donald Trump is not the President there.

It's because smaller country, less population. Can do things with smaller countries where you can't from bigger ones. That's like small towns vs large cities. Smaller towns are more better ran and peaceful.

Well unemployment is way low, so everyone has a job, But larger cities actually offer economies of scale in running services. And if you think you have harder winters to cope with think again compared to theirs.@SW-User

@SW-User Functional government, that works for the people, not special interests, not size of country, is the key part. We will see some tax revenue, from offshore oil drilling, but the bulk will go to corporations.

In Norway, it's the reverse. It's the same for all the Scandinavian countries.

@Northwest its easy to take care of a small country than a large one.. its easier to pay for health coverage for a small country than a large one. its easier for smaller countries to spread wealth than larger ones.

@SW-User If you do the math, you will find that the only difference, is that special interests are not given priority, and there's a willingness to share, as in the wealth gap is far, far narrower.
