i can rememebr in th e1990- early - to mid 90's when we searched for something (not on Google that was not a thing yet) that we got what we asked for, No deep web and dark web shit. You want the best warez sites- Ok. no prob. Alphanumeric generator, for 12 places, 16, 24, whatever. Torrents - who the hell needs that when the searches are better. (but they existed).. Now we only get the goody goody shit Google wants us to see. Like pattern that can be cut out to make a 1950's Poodle skirt--or fucking doilies!
@BlueMetalChick True- but TOR is dark and deep web. Point is once we could get what we wanted without a special browser. I kinda hate the restrictions Google and others have placed on searching. i understand it- but i do not like it.

@Elandra77 It's not so much restrictions as it is shortcomings. Google and other search engines can't index things that are password protected. The "deep web" really is just any part of the internet which is either password protected or has purposefully made efforts to avoid indexing.
@BlueMetalChick True. And kinda sad. search engines have been around since 1992. and while they are super fast compared to how they were- they still can't index a lot of things. So shortcomings- yes I agree. And I am not so sure i want 14 year old Billy or Mary to get an AK-47 even IF they an afford as their parents are rich! I am surprised at how many are intimidated by TOR and the deep and dark web.
