How Much TV Does He Watch?

In an effort to show that he does not watch 4-8 hours of TV per day, the President did a bunch of tweets attacking several media/news outlets, and singling out Don Lemon as the dumbest one of them all.

The question is, if he does not watch CNN, NBC, or read the NYT, and WaPo, how does he know that their coverage is bad?

I imagine him watching reruns of Gilligan's Island for hours. I hope he isn't watching Leave It to Beaver. That show is for good decent human beings.
@hunkalove LOL !!
@bijouxbroussard I would say he probably gets "smarmy" tips from Eddie Haskell. But Trump's not that polite. 😃

@bijouxbroussard I would say he's more of a skipper than a millionaire, and definitely prefers Ginger to Mary Ann.

The President is making 5.5 misleading or totally false statements every day he is in office.

(Washington Post Fact Checker.)

@RodionRomanovitch Those are just the ones we know about. Imagine how many lies he tells to those around him, other leaders, his cabinet, etc.? It is a veritable lie fest.

@RodionRomanovitch His first tweet of the day:
Despite thousands of hours wasted and many millions of dollars spent, the Democrats have been unable to show any collusion with Russia - so now they are moving on to the false accusations and fabricated stories of women who I don’t know and/or have never met. FAKE NEWS!
Lie #1: the Democrats: The special prosecutor was appointed by the AG, whos is a Republican, through his assistant, who is a Republican and under the watchful eyes of a GOP House and Senate.

Lie #2: show any collusion. This is not about collusion. There may or may not be collusion, but this is about Russian meddling, primarily.

Lie #3: The collusion thing is still there, has not been disproved yet.

Lie #4: false accusations about women: this is yet to be investigated.

Lie #5: I don’t know and/or have never met: see the media for all sorts of videos of Trump with the women he never met.

@Northwest It is pretty amazing to actually live in a time that mirrors the novel 1984. I never thought we'd live in such times, where so many lies would be told, and moreover believed by millions of unquestioning loyalists.
Doomflower · 36-40, M
I hate him and I hope he dies on camera.
hunkalove · 61-69, M
@Doomflower I think if he is still in the White House when the Dems take over in January 2019 there is a very good chance he will die in prison. If he was smart, and he ain't, he would resign now and go live in Saudi Arabia.
Doomflower · 36-40, M
@hunkalove I don't think it will work out like that unfortunately. I really don't think it will get better
Northwest · M
@hunkalove The way things are shaping up in Saudi Arabia, they may have a regime change in the works. The Jerusalem fiasco, means that it's not going to be business as usual there.

Don Lemon the name just says it all he is the worst dumbest newscaster I've ever seen a real lemon.. twice he gave away the phony actor in one of his own station's fake newscasts bending the left agenda
Northwest · M
@Jibby You're going to be here in 3 years, still claiming to be smart and clairvoyant? That's even more impressive. I would have thought you'd be putting these skills to work, and you will not have time for the rest of us.
Jibby · 56-60, C
@Northwest I didn't claim to be smart boy I claim to be right it doesn't take a whole lot of brains to be right when arguing with someone like you. You're the exact reason he will get elected again people are tired of whining politically correct little douchebags.
Northwest · M
@Jibby I believe you when you say you didn’t claim to be smart. Rest assured you’re not. Thus far, the only thing you demonstrated, is your vulgar nature, that, in addition to your disillusionment. Anyone who claims to be right, when predicting 7 years into the future, can only be described as delusional. And these are the facts.

Don Lemon WAS at one time a very pleasant easy to listen to disseminator of information. Personally I feel that Don made a poor career move when he chose to start directly attacking the President. That began after he got drunk on the New Years Eve broadcast from his hometown. Prior to his displaying partisanship I liked the Don Lemon portrayed on TV.

I wonder if the democrats and media simply stopped arguing about the legitimacy of the election whether the President would tweet way less, move into the background, let Kelly, Mattis,Tillerson et al handle the serious public stuff and simply sit back awarding medals, signing legislation and hosting and attending state functions.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@jackjjackson I have to agree with you about Don Lemon.
I haven't watched him in a long time. I lost respect for him on that New Year's Eve.

It is highly doubtful that trump would change in any way with any change in the press. The media hasn't been focused on the legitimacy of the election for a long time. They are focused on the way trump is handling the presidency. That's a big difference, and the press is not going to stop reporting on that, nor should they.
Northwest · M
@jackjjackson OK, so he got drunk with Kathy Griffin (I can't really stand her), and ended up with ear piercings. The alternative was a tattoo. I still think he's pretty factual. CNN pulled his mike BTW, during that show. Even Anderson Cooper was kind of buzzed that night.

i have often wondered that exact question. what s even funnier i conservatives who try to use media coverage to prove their points and in the same post clam they are all fake news.
@ladycae Yeah, the news is "fake" only when it's bad. 😏
ladycae · 100+, F
@bijouxbroussard no the news is fake when ever it suits them to decry it as such.
@ladycae True, but they don't when it's good news for them.
