Why don't we have a minimum quota of Trans politicians?

I think it'd be very inclusive and mean that trans women like me aren't persecuted by the government ever like Donald Trump is doing now

Shouldn't we instead focus on getting people who can do their jobs, instead of hiring people because "it would look good"?

Surely doing that would be better than using the trans community as a marketing tactic.

@Fangirlsarah1996 Trans people can do their jobs just as much as anyone else, stop being so transphobic!
Fangirlsarah1996 · 26-30, F
@ParaPacem I'm not being transphobic, I'm simply saying that we should judge people by the quality of their work, instead of what they identify as.

Besides, the point is moot as politicians are VOTED for, you can't force people to vote for anything, if you did that it would not be called a Democracy.

@Fangirlsarah1996 Trump wasn't voted for, Hillary had more votes, the only reason Trump was made President is because the electoral colleges are part of the patriarchy

@ParaPacem She won the popular vote yes...but he was voted for, democratically.

A large percentage of the American people flat out didn't vote that day, if they did the option would be different.

@GreensCornbreadYams To be fair one of, if not the largest contributor to Hillary's loss was the fact that "barely" anyone voted...I'd wager a good number of those people supported her and thought she wouldn't lose.

Which if you think about it, the irony is very sad indeed.
