Are there too many posts about Trump?

Obviously he can't be ignored completely because he is the actual President of the actual United States and IMO he is abysmal for multiple reasons. Really though?

He wants the oxygen of the publicity and he is a troll. He uses the dead cat strategy to distract from more damaging and more fundamental issues and people take the bait.

He also wants people to get angry. Liberals are 'triggered' into a response and his base love that.

I get that it's tricky sometimes because you don't want to ignore attacked on transgender people in the military etc but people need to be aware of the strategy. This is a self reinforcing feedback loop and Trump is not an idiot (in this sense).

There are other and more fundamental political issues in the world anyway. Also there are plenty of issues which relate to Trump where he is merely a symptom of deeper problems rather than the cause. Also, it's boring.

Despite his claims to the contrary, Trump thrives on positive tweets, or anything that feeds his ego. This is who he is.

Look at how easily he gets triggered. The father of one of the UCLA basketball players did not blow him, for having asked Xi to free them, so he dedicated some tweets to attack him today. If the world, indeed is at the brink of nuclear war with N. Korea and the US is not great again, wouldn't you think this is what he would be tweeting about?

I think we need to continue exposing his bullshit, and calling him on it. I'm not saying that we should go the TexChick, etc. route, and start calling names. Just stick to the facts, and expose the lies.

There are a lot of lurkers on SW, and anywhere else we participate, who are in the fence, and may appreciate someone else doing the research.

But yes, I hear what you're saying. There's no exact science to this thing.

@Burnley123 To follow up on this, Trump just reversed his administration's decision on big game import, following negative social media feedback across all demographics/voting groups. He's also eating up (and re-tweeting) comments from celebs thanking him for his decision to put this on hold.
