Why does Trump get so much hate from people?

I know criticism comes naturally with being a President, but it seems much worse and more widespread with him.

Because certain people didn't get what they wanted. There is a mindset now on a good part of the left that was created by years of indoctrination by the US education system. These people have been brainwashed to believe that they are 'special' and entitled to 'get their way'. They didn't get their way, so they break things and burn things and hurt people and lie.

@puck61 C'mon, you know it's more than that. Trump was elected because he was a giant "fuck you" to the establishment, and liberals in particular. He's not a typical President who acts like other Presidents, and is busy dismantling the trade deals and ministries set up by his predecessors.

Of course people are freaking out. You can support what he's doing and love it, but it's a MAJOR change and a rejection of globalism in favour of economic nationalism. If he was a boring run of the mill President why support him? That's not what he's there for.

@CountScrofula Trump 'is' a message from the right to the left. That is true, but he is doing a good job, and the left is blinded by their hatred for him, and will not acknowledge the truth.

@puck61 indeed , i am an old fart... not as old as you thought..i see that you are above the us education system...it is what the individual makes it...it’s a direct reflection of the community. if people see problems in their schools..they should be a change agent.. i know of young people who do well despite where they live...
