Why is it that some people seem to think that the only possibly reason anyone could have for not liking Obama is that he's black? Do you really think he's that perfect? Are you really that blind? Please tell me what the person posting this said to indicate that he doesn't like black people? What racist statements did you see in this post? Bad presidents can come in all races, so Obama being a bad president doesn't count as a racist statement..

@RippinKlouds I suppose that presenting some evidence would be helpful, though there is plenty of evidence out there. It would take a lot of work to compare him with all the other presidents, but I suppose they could have mentioned a few things they didn't like about him, at least.

But I also think that calling someone a racist, just because they say Obama was the worst president we've ever had, and Obama happens to be black, seems like a bit of a knee-jerk reaction, and I don't see any real proof of that either. Too many times, when I have mentioned specific things that I didn't like about Obama, people have shut me down by telling me that I just didn't like having a black president. They just wanted to shut down the discussion, so they pulled out that trump card and felt that they had automatically won the argument that way.

Maybe you aren't one of those people. I have to admit, though, that I've encountered so many of those people that when people start to make accusations of racism, I've begun to have a reaction almost like Pavlov's dog, if you know what I mean. I suppose some people who have been victims of racism have a similar reaction to Republicans, I don't know.

@SW-User Just to name a few things:

He raised our debt more than any other president by far
He raised our taxes by a lot, which slowed down the economic recovery a great deal
He shoved Obamacare down our throats even though most of us didn't want it, which actually made healthcare less affordable, instead of more affordable
He alienated our allies and emboldened our enemies
He stirred up resentment between people of different races, and
He tried to make us all feel ashamed to be Americans.

Please note that being black is NOT on this list. I can't begin to tell you how sick and tired I am of being told, "You just didn't like having a black president" every time someone talks about how great Obama was and I try to tell them that he was actually very bad for our country. Part of me is tempted to say something sarcastic, like "Really? All this time I thought I had disagreed with his policies and was unhappy with his style of leadership. But it turns out that all this time I was just a racist bitch. Wow. Please tell me what else you know about me that I didn't know." I'm always amazed at the arrogance of people who think they know better than I know what I'm thinking. Wow. Just wow.

Okay, I'll get off my soapbox now. I see that you conveniently deleted your account, just after posting this comment. How very brave of you. Oh well. Maybe others will read it and will at least get a good laugh out of it.
