Should the US government require that all Americans be proficient in Spanish?

No, I took french in highschool and can't remember a thing. I sure as hell won't remember any spanish at this point.

@Neurotoxin That's because by the time a student reaches HS, the odds of learning a language fluently drop to almost zero. Languages should be taught concurrently from birth, studies suggest.
