when trump won presidency... a lot of people were in a state of mass hysteria...

did it also happened when Obama became president? did people jokingly shouted that the white house is going to turn black? [sorry for the racism its just a question] i also watched a southpark episode...did McCain fans got depressed when obama won?

i'm not from american but it doesn't hurt to ask right?

There were many protests, many of them racist in nature, when Obama was elected. I personally heard from those who thought the US was on it's way to becoming a 3rd world country. Chuck Norris (a famous actor...ish) complained there would be a thousand years of darkness. I don't believe I've ever seen anything like this latest post-election frenzy, however.

None of that happened, and we'll probably rebound from Trump, too, but it'll take a lot of policy reversal. I'm sure McCain's supporters were depressed when he lost to Obama and then Trump, as was 54% of the country who didn't vote for Trump.
