I have criticisms of the POTUS, but I'm not a hater. I think he's done some things well.

He's very good at deflecting political responsibility, at least among his core base. Demonizing the media. Transferring blame, false flags. Dirty, but effective politics.

He's very good at connecting to the emotional never of his core base. He has a very visceral way of communicating in the absence of any real policy content that people relate to. This is how you get polls where people say there is absolutely no way they would change their minds about him.

I think he's been effective in pushing McConnell and Ryan off their perches. I am with Trump in that it's unacceptable for there not to be an ACA replacement in hand from day #1 he entered the oval office. The majority leader and speaker positions have degenerated.

I agree with him repealing TPP.

I agree with NotYourPepper lol he has people losing their minds. He can be entertaining for sure but I don't think he's a great speaker.

He did defeat the favorite Clinton in the election and won.

I've heard first hand reports from Arizona that suggested quite the opposite , with people becoming bored of his bombast long before the end and getting quite restless. The venue was far from sold out either with people posting videos on Twitter of an empty hall at the rear. It looks like his circus act might be beginning to lose some of its novelty.
