Destroy all the slave owners statues?

Maybe we should tear down all the statues and destroy the monuments to former slave holders, like George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and Ulysses S. Grant.
Will that make everyone happy and less triggered?

Normally I don't approve of destroying monuments, but in those cases I am prepared to make an exception.
