[b][u]Is There No Way Out[/u][/b]

Once again my failures have taken hold
I no longer see the happiness that once was
It escapes my grasp
Like smoke blown in the wind


I fall into the darkness of my mind
All light is swallowed by the abyss
I am not who once was
I am not who I want to be

How did I end up here again?
In this world of pain
That has become all too familiar
Is there no way out?

My cries are smothered by the silence
The chains of despair inhibit my actions
I no longer feel the need to move on
I am becoming numb to it all
