A sea that rises like a towering wall
To bellow its existence at the sky

To surge again in an attempt to fly

To the merry dance of brightly ribboned fish
Making their way through streams of light
Dancing to the fulfilment of every wish
Sunlight soaked in a moment’s delight

And I know these rhythms and this synchronous song
I breathe them in my blood as you call me to stay
And my heart is on fire to merge and belong
While being also called away

I am the moon wrapped over the land
And the sea that is moving in constant sway
As you stroke my naked thigh with a gentle hand
And our moving bodies begin to pray

To the sonorous call of creatures barely felt
A thousand lanterned fish that swim in the night

You are the gull filled sky that wheels above
Diving with fingers and tongues and grins
