Written in prison about my son being born

CrazyMusicLover · 31-35
If that's true then I hope you'll never have a daughter.
Stephie · 22-25, F
The start of that poem was nice until you basically stated that girls were not worth anything.
Antoine85 · 36-40, M
@Stephie as explained above Stephie poor word choice. If my son was a girl then it would be a bouncing baby girl. I meant no offence in relation to boys and girls or ladies and men x
Stephie · 22-25, F
@Antoine85 Everyone makes mistakes in life. I am not here to judge your life and the fact that you apologize shows that you recognize that it was wrong. I will not dwell any further on this matter. Thanks for your answer.
Antoine85 · 36-40, M
@Stephie whilst we're on the subject may I add that the offence for which I missed my son's birth had already been committed before I met my son's mum and she fell pregnant. It's not like I knew and was a dick anyway. Don't make any difference I guess but had it been a daughter as I said I'd probably have guys having a go at me because id of worded in that context x

It is so difficult to connect to the family inside. Your tribute to your son keeps him close to the heart. Easy to tell your heart was in this work!
Antoine85 · 36-40, M
@Pfuzylogic thank u logic. As I can c it's been taken out of context part of it but yes I was saddened to miss his birth. I met his mum whilst I had a pending court charge and by the time the birth came round I was doing 6 months but he's my inspiration

I apologise for any offense. Maybe poor word choice. If it had been a girl then I'd of likely offended men by my word choice. Hey listen I'm no expert in literature or poetry so I do apologise for the line but it has been taken way out of context from what I meant x
Stephie · 22-25, F
@Antoine85 That is a nice poem. Thanks for sharing.

@Matt85 Why would anyone post that they did time?

It’s nothing to be proud of and not difficult to avoid by living a reasonably ethical life.
Antoine85 · 36-40, M
@RedBaron I never posted I was proud of doing time I posted a out how my son was born when I was in there and he's my inspiration
Antoine85 · 36-40, M
@Antoine85 few ppl choose to go to prison but sometimes life throws us curveballs baron but the poem wasn't about me being locked up or about the sex of my child. It was about the pride that was instilled me and how he has inspired me to better days
