Luxure d'août

Her eyes and that gorgeous smile,
Are two of the fondest memories I have of her.
She danced a dance so footloose and fancy,
But she didn't just throw caution to the wind.
For she was a majestic lady,
A harmonious balance of careful and carefree,
Good and Naughty.
With a spirit so beautiful,
It touched the hearts of many.
But in all of her splendor,
Only a few could tell the tale of her love.
Because she was one in a million,
And she never settled for anything less.

@beermeplease bro you're welcome to use it, thank you.
@beermeplease Just like the light that flashes in a storm, she weeps fot the loss of her love.

Something that I came up with while watching a movie back in 2006.
@Sapio nope...that can only be sapio 🙂

@NativePortlander1970 I was going to respond last night but I went to bed. That's a great line. Do you write from time to time?
@Sapio Thank you so very much :) I wish I could write, it's the first line of a SciFi story I wanted to write years ago, but I got bad writer's block quickly into it.

@NativePortlander1970 the urge to write comes and goes. I'll admit that before the poem written above. I had writer's block and didn't write for months. If there is any advice I can give you. It's think of yourself like you're watching a movie when you write. Write the scene as if someone is watching.
@Sapio That's a good way to do it as I was watching Becoming Jane with my late ex fiancee when I wrote that line.
