From Marilyn's collection.... [I Love Meaningful Poetry]

Life —
I am of both of your directions
Somehow remaining hanging downward
but strong as a cobweb in the wind —
I exist more with the cold glistening frost.
But my beaded rays have the colors
I’ve seen in paintings —
ah life they have cheated you.

— Marilyn Monroe

The image was from her last photoshoot on July13, 1962. Just three weeks later, she was found dead at 36.

Natural beauty from a different time - I know very little about her and never would have guessed those were her words...
@fun4us2b She was so misunderstood. Poetry, reading and animals were here solace. She wrote madly and left behind journals of scribbles and completed works. She also had nearly 500 books in her treasured collection.

@MoonlightLullabyOld Wow - a treasure to find - if only this is what they find when they land and we are all gone!
