I Write Pretty Crappy Dark Poetry

Deep black oceans, stormy skies,
Winds that whip and whirl,
Silence, secrets, well told lies,
Waves that heave and hurl.

Sinking, struggling, crying out,
Nothing there but night;
Drowning in agony, drowning in doubt,
Alone and losing the fight.
