Are you desperately trying to reach out to someone that is always at arm's length?

In every life and every world, there is a girl you're cursed to love but never hold.
She'll inspire you and the universe will conspire against you.
You'll write about her beauty and strength.
All the while she'll be at arm's length.

You'll obsess and obsess without any success.
It'll end up making a mess of your emotions.
Your devotion to her will end up being the death of you.

The experience will test you.
Unless you find a way to pass it she'll destroy you.
So, please try and see there's no way to end this favorably.
Continue on this path and it'll all end in misery.

She's the most beautiful girl but I'll never hold her.
It wouldn't make a difference even if I told her.
